Fortunately for us, it wasn’t what she was looking for but we fell in love with the place for its location, acreage and wildlife.We were referred to Verani by our prospective mortgage lender and soon met our Realtor, Janisa Geyer. I don’t think we ever properly thanked her for all the help she gave us, mostly because we dove headfirst into projects on the new property and didn’t really come back up for air for quite awhile.When we met, I was confident in my ability to get a mortgage and had already been preapproved, so I thought it would be a quick and easy process to get this real estate transaction done. Unfortunately, nearly as soon as the sellers had accepted our offer, problems and delays started. Covid slowed all the inspections, we couldn’t seem to schedule an appraisal and a month later, my mortgage company backed out abruptly because they suddenly realized that they didn’t actually lend on that type of property (a manufactured home)!!I began to stress out at the thought of losing out on our dream, and around this time Janisa stepped in and referred us to a lender out in California who she had already verified as willing and able to help us out. Although we had to start the entire loan process over again, we were able to complete the purchase and are now loving our new home. I credit a large part of our success to the way Janisa and the Verani team stuck by us to the end, and will definitely use them again if I have the opportunity.
